Please read the detailed descriptions of project scope, terms, conditions below.
NOTE: The Design Services Information Sheet prices include a specified maximum allowable time spent per project. In the rare event that it is necessary, the client will be notified prior to exceeding the allowable timeframe. An agreement will be made as to setting parameters to bring the project to completion within the maximum allowable project time, or the contract can be renegotiated to include the necessary time to bring the project to completion to meet the desires of the client. Every effort will be made to meet the average timeframes as stated above, however, designer reserves the right to adjust timeframes as needed.

 

CUSTOM LANDSCAPE DESIGN MASTER PLAN AND PROJECT SUPERVISION

Successful design implementation is guaranteed through the coordination of: the master plan, construction documents, bidding, contractor selection, installation and follow-up maintenance. This valuable partnership between the client, designer, and installer ensures the greatest possible interpretation of the design through craftsmanship, experience, and pure raw talent of all involved to make your landscape vision grander than imagined.

This turnkey design process includes 10 essential planning elements:

  1. Landscape Survey and Interview (Up to 2 hours included)
  2. Landscape Site Plan (often in conjunction with the architect)
  3. Conceptual Landscape Layout or Functional Diagram
  4. Planting Plan
  5. Irrigation Plan with Low Voltage Lighting Suggestions
  6. Construction Documents
  7. Management of Bidding Process (includes up to three contractors approved by designer)
  8. Selection of Contractor (with owners and architects approval)
  9. Construction Advisory and Oversight (up to 10% of projected completion time)
  10. Personalized On-site Planting Layout of Essential Elements (up to 10% of total planting labor)
  • A customized maintenance program option is available to suit the long-term goals for these highly crafted landscapes.
  • A customized payment plan is part of this process and is agreed upon prior to initiating the design work.
  • Project schedule is determined by client, designer, contractor, architects, and other involved parties, and subject to change as needed to meet project goals.

 

LANDSCAPE AND IRRIGATION MASTER PLAN

Excellent choice...a must for the discriminating client interested in saving time, money, energy, and frustration with a landscape and irrigation plan that fits their long-term goals and ensures the greatest value for the investment. (Includes up to 1 acre of project area within 25 miles of Bend)

These 8 optimum design elements are included to ensure this outcome:

  1. Landscape Survey and Interview (includes up to 2 hours, client returns signed survey with retainer.)
  2. Landscape Site Plan (base plan supplied by owner or architect)
  3. Conceptual Landscape Layout or Functional Diagram (review with clients/architect prior to proceeding to final plan)
  4. Planting Plan (2 blueprint copies included)
  5. Irrigation Plan (2 blueprint copies included)
  6. Construction Documents (specifications to facilitate comparable bids)
  7. Management of Bidding Process (includes up to three contractors approved by designer)
  8. Project Oversight during Construction (up to a total of 5 hours includes: Pre-construction meeting with contractor, Project visitation during initial layout, mid-way to completion, punch list near completion, and final walk through)
    This beneficial client/designer relationship ensures the greatest expression of the client's vision combined with over 20 years of creative landscape design expertise in Central Oregon.
  • Projected design completion is generally 30- 60 days from contract acceptance. Bidding is 2 weeks.
  • Contracted Installation is dependent on accepted contractors' schedule, and outside designer's control.

     

    LANDSCAPE MASTER PLAN

    A great value for the judicious client interested in optimizing their investment with a landscape plan that fits their long-term goals within their budget constraints. (Includes up to 1/2 acre within 25 miles of Bend, Oregon)

    These 6 beneficial design elements are included:

    1. Landscape Survey and Interview (includes up to 2 hours, client returns signed survey with retainer.)
    2. Landscape Site Plan (base plan supplied by owner or architect)
    3. Conceptual Landscape Layout (review with clients/architect prior to proceeding to final plan)
    4. Planting Plan (2 blueprint copies included)
    5. Layout of deck or patio entertainment areas.
    6. Supporting plant list and local resource guide
  • Projected design completion is generally 30- 60 days from contract acceptance.

 

PRE-PROJECT NEW OR LANDSCAPE REMODEL CONSULTATION

A great opportunity for the client exploring the possibilities for their ultimate outdoor space. A must for the client interested in " organizing, simplifying, or expanding an existing landscape". Also a great choice for the client interested in conserving water, or reducing long-term maintenance cost while customizing their landscape to enhance their lifestyle. The cost of the consultation is applied towards the landscape design fee retainer.

2 Hr. Consultation:
This 3-step process includes:

  1. Landscape Survey and Interview (client completes survey prior to initial meeting)
  2. Site Plan shall be provided by client (or by designer at additional cost.)
  3. Discussion of a strategy to effectively meet clients goals.
    • Recommendations for existing tree maintenance, removal, or relocation.
    • Recommendations for additional plantings, plant removal or renovation.
Full payment is due at time of service.

 

LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING
2 Hr. Consultation with field notes and resource list. (exclusively for existing clients)

Includes plant ID, Integrated Pest Management (I.P.M.) and Disease identification and management practices, irrigation management and conservation strategies, and other landscape management issues.

Full payment is due at time of service.

 

LANDSCAPE MANAGEMENT & CONSERVATION STRATEGY
2 Hr. Consultation with field notes for maintenance company (exclusively for existing clients)

Initial landscape establishment methodology and procedures coordinated with a maintenance company and monitored twice per growing season for first three years.

Full payment is due at time of service.
